RYA Helmsman
Age 12 years (under 16 endorsed certificate)+This course covers basic boat handling, engine checks and safety. It is ideal for new owners or a crew member conscious of the difficulty and hazards of boat handling in the marina. It is useful for crews as well as skippers.

RYA Day Skipper (Motor)
Age 16 years+The RYA Day Skipper practical motor course is for those new to, or with little experience of motor cruising and wishing to skipper or charter their own motor cruiser. The course covers berthing, anchoring, close quarters handling, and use of electronic aids like GPS and Radar.
